We’re not your average print shop.  At Flatlanders, custom printing is personal to us.  We believe apparel printing should feel easy, approachable, and even fun.  That is why we have built our company around real conversations, helpful guidance, and quality you can see.  

In 2021, our company stepped into a new chapter with a change in ownership and a new name: Flatlanders Printing Company. Even though the name changed, the heart of the business stayed rooted in what mattered most from the beginning. We kept the personal service, the helpful attitude, and the commitment to making every customer feel welcome, whether they needed one shirt for a special gift or 5,000 pieces for a major event, business rollout, school order, or fundraiser. We are proud of where we started, and we are just as proud of where we are headed.

What We Believe

We believe the best print shops do more than take orders. We believe they guide, listen, and make the process feel less overwhelming.

That is why we focus so much on being friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable at every step. When you work with us, you are not just sending files into a system and hoping for the best. You are working with real people who care about how your finished product looks, feels, and represents you.

We know printing can come with a lot of questions. Which garment holds up best? Which ink colors will pop on a dark shirt? How will this banner look once it is actually printed? What if you are ordering for a group with different sizes, styles, or preferences?

These are the kinds of details we help with every day, and we are always happy to talk them through.

Hands-On Experience

One thing that sets us apart is how hands-on the experience can be. We know that ordering custom apparel online without seeing or touching the product can feel like a gamble. That is why we give our customers the chance to feel the fabric, compare options, and choose what fits their needs best.

Sometimes the difference between a shirt people wear once and a shirt they wear all the time comes down to how it feels in their hands. Softness matters. Weight matters. Fit matters. Brand matters. We get that, and we think you should be able to explore those choices with confidence.

We also give you the freedom to choose just about any clothing brand you want. Some customers already know exactly what they like. Others want help finding the right combination of comfort, quality, durability, and price. Either way, we are here to help narrow it down and make sure you feel good about what you are ordering.

Personal Design Assistance

Not everyone comes to us with print-ready artwork, and honestly, that is completely normal. That is why we keep a designer on hand. If your idea is still taking shape, we can help you work through it. Maybe you have a logo that needs to be cleaned up. Maybe you have a sketch on your phone, a slogan written on a note, or a general look you want but are not sure how to explain. We can meet you there.

We love helping customers bridge the gap between idea and finished product. It is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. Good design is not just about making something look nice. It is about making sure your message comes through clearly and your final printed piece feels like you. That collaborative process matters to us. We want you to feel comfortable asking questions, exploring options, and making changes until the final direction feels right.

Small Orders Or A Big Project

One of the things we hear all the time is, “Do you only do large orders?” The answer is no. We are set up for any size client. That means we can help if you need one single shirt for a birthday, family joke, or personal project. It also means we can handle an order of 5,000 for a company, school, team, event, nonprofit, or organization that needs consistency at scale.

To us, every order matters because every order matters to the person placing it. A one-shirt order might mark a memory that lasts forever. A 5,000-piece order might support a major launch or community event. Both deserve care, attention, and quality.

We do not believe smaller customers should feel overlooked, and we do not believe bigger customers should feel like just another number. Our goal is to make every client feel supported, informed, and valued from start to finish.
